We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. If your service is cancelled within the 48 hour window, a flat charge of CHF100 will be invoiced to you. This is to cover costs of the cancelled appointment. If cancelled prior to the 48 window, then you will be asked to rearrange the appointment. Our online booking system makes it very easy for you to manage your bookings. If your dogs coat has matting, we charge an additional CHF30 per hour taken to de-matt the coat. This is due to additional time taken for our groomers. We always practice welfare over vanity and if we are presented with a neglected coat, we may believe it is kinder to remove the coat in accordance with The Swiss Animal Welfare Act of 2005.
Times for each dog are approximate and guide times is listed on our booking page. The time taken for your dog can depend on the breed, type/condition of the coat, temperment and age. As a norm, we allow fort wo hours per grooming session.
The frequency of your dog’s grooms can entirely depend on their needs, their coat type, their age and many other factors. We will tailor the service to them and recommend to you how often they should visit us. We can discuss this at your first salon visit.
Bringing your puppy to the spa from an early age is recommended so they can learn to love the experience of grooming. Your puppy can visit once they’ve had both their vaccinations. We will get slowly get them used to the various sounds, tools and handling of our services.
We ask that your dog arrives to their appointment on lead and has had a chance to go to the toilet prior to entering the salon. If your dog has a nervous temperament, we would recommend they arrive with an empty stomach. Clients that are new to our spa will be asked to fill out a client registration form when you arrive if you have not already done so online prior to your appointment.
We also ask that your dog not be brought to the salon if they have fleas. If you are unaware that your dog has fleas and we have to treat the fleas at the salon, this will carry an extra charge of CHF 80.
We understand that the groomers can be an anxious time for many dogs and our salon team are experienced with nervous dogs. If your dog is uncomfortable with other dogs or people, we have secure dog beds in our spas to ensure your dog is safe and sound. If your dog is comfortable with a muzzle, we also have these in our salon to protect them and our team.
We are easily reached by public transport. Alternatively, please enquire via email about our dog taxi service in the surrounding areas of our salon. Our dog walking team can also pick up your dog and take them to the salon. You can then collect them from their appointment or we can drop them off home.
