At just 12 weeks old, puppies can benefit from a gentle puppy wash and face trim. Our puppy grooming sessions are intentionally shorter, ensuring we take our time to create a positive experience. This careful approach is crucial for fostering a positive association with grooming during this critical stage of a puppy's development. We gradually introduce:

Hand-stripping can be done on Cocker Spaniels, Schnauzers, Border Terriers and wired haired breeds. This is a specialist grooming technique done by hand. We will strip out the dead outer hair to reveal the new under coat. Hand-stripping helps keep coats the correct colour and texture. As this is a very labour intensive treatment is also more costly and takes longer than a regular groom. We use an ultrasonic dentalbrush designed for animals. This involves a motionless and soft teeth cleaning, without brushing, which works up to 12mm deep in the gums. We also use a dental spray. This treatment helps remove stains and tartar and helps prevent gingivitis, periodontitis, tartar formations and mouth odour.
